Irdial Discs embraces the Free Music Philosophy

I came across Irdial Discs while looking for their release "The Conet Project", a 4 CD set of tracks taken from Shortwave Numbers Stations. It turns out that Irdial made the decision to destroy all copies of their back catalog material in 1999 (except for 100 copies of each release) and to make all their material available by download only, free to whoever might want to hear it. If you enjoy what you hear, they'd like you to send a donation equal to what you think the music's worth. Please check them out! I had never heard their other material before, but I love it. I guess you'd call it house music (not including the Conet Project) but whatever it is, it won't cost you anything to try a bit.
