You may order by email or regular mail. To pay by anything other than Paypal, you should email us with your order (so we know your needs ahead of time and can serve you better by telling you the total cost of your item with shipping and packing) and then mail your postal money order, money order, or check to

including a note with the item(s) you are ordering, where to send them, and your email address (so we can keep you informed).
If you have won an auction, please include where the auction was (amazon.com, ebay, etc.), the auction #, and your user id on your payment and in your letter/Paypal email! When using Paypal, we also appreciate your emailing ahead of time--please include what you are ordering, where it is going, and how to contact you (email). WE DON'T BEGIN ACTUALLY PROCESSING YOUR ORDER UNTIL WE RECEIVE PAYMENT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE ORDERING TSHIRTS, POSTERS, MUGS,OR ANYTHING REQUIRING A SPECIAL ORDER ON OUR PART. THIS IS TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT WE DON'T END UP WITH ITEMS WHICH AREN'T PAID FOR, WHICH WE NOW MUST SELL TO SOMEONE ELSE.

What if I don't want to give my credit card over the Internet?

That's fine, simply continue through the ordering process until it asks you for a credit card number, then simply choose "check" as a payment option and we will receive your order electronically. You can then write us a check, and as soon as we receive payment, we'll ship your order.

Do you accept international orders?
|

Indeed we do, but--
All funds sent, whether by International Money Order, Bank Draft/Check, cash (not recommended unless the letter is registered or insured, and even then), etc. MUST BE IN US DOLLARS! We can't accept any payment that isn't in US funds! (at least not easily...)

How is my item shipped, and how much does it cost?

I ship US Priority Mail insured within the United States and insured Air Mail outside the U.S.. Priority Mail is $3.85 for up to a pound and varies by zone above that, while insurance is another $1.30 for up to $50 worth of items. With USPS packing materials included you get my $5.15 shipping. I will let you know if there are additional charges for any reason.
I will ship standard mail if requested, but I do insist on the $1.30 or so for insurance in case something happens to your purchase after it leaves my hands!

How long does it take to get what I ordered?

Um...depends on what you ordered! Prints of photos shouldn't take too long (I have to go and get them and gather them for mailing) so you should get them within 2 weeks after I get your $, but posters, mugs, shirts, anything like that...I have to order them, so they'll take whatever the processing time for the item is, plus shipping time to you. Of course, the special items and overseas orders take longer! I'll do my best to let you know of delays beforehand.
For instance: The T shirts and other "gift" items can take up to 14 days to produce, according to the processor...add in the time your letter might take to reach me, and the shipping time back, and the longest time might be a month plus, which I can't do anything about. However, as the shortest processing time listed for these items is 5 to 10 days, you may have them in 3 weeks or so. I will do my best to get them quickly, but I appreciate your understanding if they take longer!

How long does shipping take?

Good question! Within the United States, Longblackveil's ships via US Priority Mail. This should get to you within a week, but it sometimes goes haywire and takes longer. For most orders, though, shipping should take no more than that, if there are no holidays, and given good weather where the mail is going!

Do you do rush orders?

|

Only for prints, and you'll be charged for the convenience--about $14-$16 for the overnight mail! (Blame the US postal service fees for that.) If I have to pay extra to get the material fast, you will too, I'm afraid. That's why I can only offer prints quickly...the other items take the time they take, and the issue is out of my hands. I am dependent on the processor's business hours myself. Thanks for understanding!

Do you accept checks?

Yes, but I don't prefer them--it delays your order while I make certain that the check doesn't bounce. =) Expect a check to delay your order by up to 2 weeks while I wait for it to go through. And no rubber checks, please, or I'll look into getting the fees back...

What if I get a damaged item?
What about returns/exchanges?

a) I ship insured. Please tell the post office or carrier of the damage, and if anything other than the packaging is damaged, please let me know...we can take it up with the postal service/delivery service.
b) I will be happy to send another item if the original is damaged, upon return of the original damaged item to me or presentation of the item to the post office with a damage claim. As my items are produced upon your order, and such items as shirts, posters, mugs, etc. require special ordering on my part...I can't accept returns or exchanges for any other reason than damage. Please see the question on damaged items, above. I include insurance in my shipping costs for your protection. (It is $3.85 or more for Priority Mail, depending upon weight/zone, and $1.30 for insurance to $50...I will let you know if your order requires more insurance or additional shipping if necessary.)
